Blog 4: Photos with Textures

I really like the "Dr. Strange" portrait profile image by famous illustrator Richard Davies. I added texture Modern Grunge layer from the Internet for my background layer. Next I added a mask and used soft brush to reveal Dr. Strange in the center of grunge texture.

For this one, I used a wedding photo of some friends. To give a vintage effect, I added Brown-Rose old paper texture as background layer. Next I applied Blending Mode "Multiply".

This is picture of I took of "Hope", my Yoga instructor, doing a floating Lotus asana.
Then I used the sunrise picture I took from our deck as the background texture. Next I added a Mask Layer where I only had "Hope" selected. Finally I applied Blending Mode "Hard Light".
